Bittersweet Memories

[Verse 1]
3 o’clock in the morning,
I’m tossing and turning on my bed
Came without a warning,
Thoughts of you that fill my head
.
And I tried to figure out what went wrong
If you and I were meant to be
But baby I’m lost and I can’t hold on
To you and your bittersweet memories
.
.
[Chorus]
I remember your smile, the dimple on your cheek,
Sweeps me off my feet…
The way you bite your tongue, when you do something wrong,
My heart just skips a beat…
.
The smell of your skin, flows through my soul,
Makes it hard to breathe…
I remember your smile, and your two bunny teeth,
That sweep me off my feet...
.
.
[Verse 2]
I go to sleep every night,
Wishing I could wake up next to you
When we talk on the phone,
I could spend forever listening to you
.
And I search through my mind for the perfect words
To say what you mean to me
But all I could find in my head
Was you and your bittersweet memories
.
.
[Chorus]
I remember your smile, the dimple on your cheek,
Sweeps me off my feet…
The way you bite your tongue, when you do something wrong,
My heart just skips a beat…
.
The smell of your skin, flows through my soul,
Makes it hard to breathe…
I remember your smile, and your two bunny teeth,
That sweep me off my feet
.
.
[Bridge]
Every time I realize that I don't belong here,
You make me feel as if I belong with you
And I don't know what to say,
And I don't know what to do
.
.

[Chorus]
I remember your smile, the dimple on your cheek,
Sweeps me off my feet…
The way you bite your tongue, when you do something wrong,
My heart just skips a beat…
.
The smell of your skin, flows through my soul,
Makes it hard to breathe…
I remember your smile, and your two bunny teeth,
That sweep me off my feet.
