If I were your princess

[Verse 1]

I see your face and it makes me smile

I look into your eyes and I can’t deny

They take me away to a place I’ve never been before

Fantasy land, deserted island, a place behind the magic door

You run your fingers through your hair

Raise your eyebrows as you see me stare

I blush; you smile as I bite my tongue

It’s a moment of bliss; it’s a feeling so strong

fgf

[Chorus]

If I were your princess,

Would you save me from my distress?

Or just lead me through another mess?

If this were our fairytale

Could we have a happy ending?

Or would it be of no avail?

[Verse 2]

I’m standing alone in this crowded place

Holding on to myself, lacking grace

Losing on my balance, I’m stumbling upon my own feet

You come around and catch me; make my heart skip a beat

Boy, every time you touch me,

I can feel myself go week in the knees

And every time you hold me

I can almost feel my blood freeze

ffg

[Chorus]

If I were your princess,

Would you save me from my distress?

Or just lead me through another mess?

If this were our fairytale

Could we have a happy ending?

Or would it be of no avail?

gdfgf

[Bridge]

I know I ain’t any Cinderella; I’ve got no crystal shoes

No magic spell, no pumpkin carriage; All I need is you.

gdf

[Chorus]

If I were your princess,

Would you save me from my distress?

Save me from every mess

If this were our fairytale

Would we have a happy ending?

Will we live happily ever after?

Little Things

The first cry of a new born child,

A little boy’s confession for having lied,

A young teenager finding the love of his life,

Or an 80 year old man hugging his wife.

.

A little help when you need it the most,

Someone to love you even at your worst,

A few kind words when you’re out of mind,

Or a hand to hold when you’re falling behind.

.

When you miss someone and remember old memories,

When you kiss someone and make new melodies,

When you find shelter in torrent rain,

Or a healing touch when you’re in pain.

.

A little cool breeze in a sunny afternoon,

When you search for something and find it soon.

When you’re thirsty, a glass of wine

Or meeting your best friend after a really long time.

.

The warmth of the sun on a very cold day,

When you’re lost and finally find your way.

And when you’re burned out, a friendly smile.

These are the LITTLE THINGS that make Life worthwhile.
