Bittersweet Memories

I love myself when I am loved by you

I love my name when it is called by you

I love my voice when I’m talking to you

I love my smile when the reason is you

And I love my life when I’m with you.

 

I love my eyes when they look at you

I love my face when it is seen by you

I love my future if it is gonna be with you

Like I love my present, which is you.

 

I love my mind when the thought is about you

I love my heart when it beats for you

I love my soul when it loves you

As I love myself when I’m loved by you!

The Turning Point

How much ever close friends we may be,

There’s always a difference which we will see;

That I’m a girl and you’re a boy

I watch Barbie, you watch troy!

 

A boy and a girl can’t just be friends they say,

I argued so much, it isn’t that way;

If that was the case then why is it now

That our friendship is turning into what they call as love?

 

The comfort level we share is something special,

Which is why I said our friendship is real;

Then why is it that now love is overtaking

And playing dangerous games with our feelings!

 

Don’t hide from yourself, the truth I can see,

You’re afraid of falling in love, your avoiding me;

But it’s up to you to rise or fall

Rise in friendship or choose love as all!

 

If you ask me, I’ll say the same,

Not all relations have a name

Now on yourself, don’t take the blame

Because love and friendship are all in the game!

 

Its time now that we stand to face life,

That has leaded us into this weird strife;

We can’t let love win over friendship’s glory

If so it happens, we’ll have to feel sorry!

I would have to live with imagination all the time,

Oh I wouldn’t even know what is or isn’t mine!

 

I will have to believe whatever other people say,

I will believe even if they call night as day.

I can’t differentiate between colors,

I identity them by the fragrance of flowers.

 

A tear and a smile would be the same to me,

Because the fact is I cannot see.

It’s like having the lock but no key,

I can’t even see Kaka playing football on T.V.!

 

I wouldn’t know the variety in bikes and cars,

Or the glory of twinkle twinkle little star.

I wouldn’t know the different shapes of the moon,

There would be no difference in evening or noon!

 

Now that I’m sure if I were blind,

My life will surely be left behind.

Hats-off to those who still manage to survive,

They have the courage to face their life!

Falling In Love

Surrender is all I’m asking for

Take me away, away from this world
